WisMATYC Fall Conferences

 

WisMATYC hosts a fall conference and two annual business meetings per year. The full membership meeting is at the annual fall conference. The Executive Board also meets in April (usually in conjunction with the annual spring meeting of the Wisconsin section of the MAA).

 

The annual fall conference is a one-day event designed to help faculty share and discuss issues related to the teaching of mathematics in two-year colleges. The conference programs feature presentations by and for teachers of freshman and sophomore courses. We invite presenters to speak on a wide variety of topics:

 

Teaching Innovations

Use of Technology

Career Opportunities

History of Mathematics

Conceptual Learning

Learning Styles

…and much more!

And, of course, this is an excellent time for networking with your Wisconsin colleagues.
